Where is the hashtag in solidarity for the Pakistani and Kashmiri children being raped here in the UK?

I used to be a feminist, but I gave it up so I could speak out for women’s rights. Even before the “intersectional”, “how many genders are there?” lunacy took over, feminism was filled to bursting with types who think men are misogynists who all secretly want to rape us (this despite the fact that men are among the greatest supporters of women’s rights) and a happily married mother is some kind of traitor. The kind of people, in other words, who nobody in their right mind could possibly get along with.

Is there a connection between CSE and Sharia Law?

NB: For anyone affected by CSE  is one organisation that may be able to help.

I learned the worth of a woman under Islam the day I sought a divorce in the Islamic Republic of Iran. I was worth less than a man, worth only half of a man. That day, somewhere in the United States, girls my age were making sure their clothes and hair were just right for a day in 7th grade (Year 9 in England). Not I. I stood before a judge in an Iranian courtroom as a married woman beaten brutally every day of my short “marriage” by my husband, a mentally unstable, older man to whom I had been sold for the financial profit of my family.

Islamic State (or ISIS or IS) is without doubt a particularly vile Islamist group.  Disavowed by Al-Qaeda for being too extreme, the group emerged in early 2013 and is led by Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.  Baghdadi recently declared himself leader of a new caliphate which so far covers parts of Iraq and Syria. Islamic State intends to stretch its caliphate much further – including in to parts of Europe.

It is poetic justice that the “plan” which kick-started recent events in the British school system-and now proclaimed to be a “hoax”—both fits the description of the investigative findings, and is in line with long-held Islamic doctrines involving the establishment and progressive self-segregation of the Muslim “Ummah” within non-Muslim countries.

Some years ago I had the experience of living under the Saudi implementation of shariah - it was a very different experience.  Not to sound dramatic, but it was a fearful experience.  One false move and one became very aware of the antiquity of shariah.  It is a remnant of a type of barbaric law of previous millennia.

Whilst the Judeo-Christian based legal systems are older, they are not quite as unforgiving as shariah, and they promote ‘one law for all’ whereas shariah does not.

Tehmina Kazi, director of British Muslims for Secular Democracy and star opponent of the massive fundamentalist mega-mosque proposed for West Ham in east London, close to the Olympic Stadium future home of West Ham United, has been forced to withdraw as a witness at the huge Public Inquiry that starts at the ExCel Conference Centre in Docklands today.

It has long been said, and written, that those who stand in front of a sharia tribunal to have their marriages and divorces ruled upon, are doing so by choice.  “It is their right” is a frequent response.

The head of the Charity Commission recently made a startling admission.  Islamic charities, he said, were the “most deadly” problem the Commission faces.  William Shawcross said it was “ludicrous” that people with convictions for terrorism were perfectly free to set up charities, and were not automatically disqualified.

Would-be assassin of Lars Hedegaard may have been holy warrior in Syria - Ingrid Carlqvist

A 26-year-old Lebanese man accused of an attempt on the life of Danish journalist and Dispatch International editor Lars Hedegaard in February 2013 was arrested in Turkey recently. According to press reports, he is connected with extremist Islamic circles in Denmark and Sweden and has probably taken part in the fighting in Syria.
