Here is what Trump said in March 2016: “I think Islam hates us. There’s something there that — there’s a tremendous hatred there. There’s a tremendous hatred. We have to get to the bottom of it. There’s an unbelievable hatred of us.”
That seems to be the difference between Trump and the Democrats: the latter, in typical head-in-sand fashion—or just to garner votes—reject the “Islamophobic” claim on principle, whereas the president at least acknowledges that there’s a problem, one that “we have to get to the bottom of.”
Disturbingly, the main concern of Blair's think-tank appears to be the online verbal "hatred" displayed by citizens in response to terrorist attacks -- not the actual physical expression of hatred shown in the mass murders of innocent people by terrorists. Terrorist attacks, it would appear, are now supposedly normal, unavoidable incidents that have become part and parcel of UK life.
All food served in a new hot school lunch programme is certified halal. RTÉ's report on the new programme focused on Our Lady of Lourdes primary school in Inchicore, Dublin which has 250 pupils but the programme has been extended to 36 schools across the country. Less than 1% of the population of Ireland are Muslim according to the 2016 census. Previously this channel highlighted the news that all chicken and turkey meat served in Ennis Hospital is also halal.
Admin: Our view is that Tony Blair and his Institute are extremely biased and frankly, they are ignoring the realities of sharia law as spelt out clearly in our Key Documents. Also as spelt out by this brave Islamic scholar who wishes to see Islam reformed.
How does a society deal with religious institutions that profess values which are the very opposite of the value system of the Western society in which they live?
"When I was in high school, there were around 50,000 people with a non-Western background in Denmark. Today, there are almost half a million. In one generation, our country has changed". — Lars Løkke Rasmussen, then prime minister of Denmark, January 1, 2019.
A public health body has removed a suggestion that people seek advice from "faith leaders" over whether to vaccinate their children after the National Secular Society questioned it. Public Health England (PHE) has altered a public facing leaflet which said people "may wish to seek advice from your faith leaders or other community leaders" over whether
So far, expressing anti-Semitic views as a Social Democrat politician in Malmö has apparently been acceptable. Even though the party has publicly said it regretted the incidents, no one has yet had to resign because of them.
The memory of the Holocaust should not be reduced to a photo-op to whitewash Malmö's ruling politicians. Remembering the Holocaust is about clearly counteracting the conditions that created the Holocaust: the normalization of anti-Semitism.
A GP in the Midlands is being investigated by the General Medical Council after asking a Muslim mum to take off her niqab during an appointment. The 52-year-old claimed he politely asked her to take it off and that the woman allegedly "willingly agreed to the request" as the three of them sat alone in a consulting room. But half an hour later her husband arrived and she complained to NHS bosses about the incident.
As many as 25% of 'Islamophobic hate crimes' recorded by the Metropolitan Police are crimes committed against non-Muslims or people of unknown faith. This is the conclusion from Freedom of Information inquiries made by Hardeep Singh of the Network of Sikh Organisations, which has been reported in the Spectator this week (4th Paragraph of the article). The Met recorded 1,227 incidents of Islam
Not all people who worry about a replacement of civilizations are necessarily violent or even incorrect. They appear to be frightened folk, sent over the edge by matters they may feel beyond control. In Europe and the United States, they have witnessed wave upon wave of attacks by individuals and groups openly espousing violence in the name of religion. They seem to fear that their own governments are doing too little to protect them and their families from future attacks.
"What unites these groups ideologically is a belief that Europe is facing a 'great replacement' by Muslim and African immigrants. And they want something done about it." — Marion MacGregor, "The push from Europe's young new right", Infomigrants.net; May 5, 2018.
Political correctness, often an extreme form of denial of reality, has made it increasingly hard for even the most reasonable and careful of thinkers to say anything critical about Islam...efforts to block fair criticism of aspects of Islam can become unjust forms of censorship.
Anne Marie Waters opposes jihad mass murder and Sharia oppression of women, gays, and others. Because of that, the Labour Party, whose leader has close links with the jihad terrorists of Hamas and Hizballah, is demanding the head of Boris Johnson aide Chloe Westley for daring to praise Waters in 2016.
It was in 2004 that GMP became aware of allegations about the grooming of predominantly white girls by gangs in the market town. Oliver had been recruited to Operation Augusta, an investigation in them, which began later that year. Yet, despite the fact that a list of over 200 suspects had been compiled, it was abandoned. One suspect identified by a victim turned out to be a serving police officer. Oliver was told by another officer responsible for investigating corruption to “leave it to us”. “I never heard what, if anything, happened to him,” she says.
Khuram Butt worked at various Tube stations. An MI5 officer “said there was no evidence that Butt took the job for ‘nefarious purposes.'” That means that there was no evidence that Butt plotted a jihad massacre in the Tube. MI5 does not know, however, what he might have intended to do eventually. That is important because there is no doubt whatsoever that Muslims are being hired for the airport and the Tube without ever being questioned or investigated about what they think about jihad.
Former Rotherham MP admits he could have done more to "burrow into" the problem in his constituency, but insists no victims ever approached him. He told the BBC: "I think there was a culture of not wanting to rock the multicultural community boat if I may put it like that.” Admitting he had been guilty of doing too little, he said he had been aware of the problem of cousin marriage and “the oppression of women within bits of the Muslim community in Britain” but: “Perhaps yes, as a true Guardian reader, and liberal leftie, I suppose I didn’t want to raise that too hard.” He recalled having a
Retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, who is reportedly being vetted by Donald Trump as a potential running mate, was fired as head of the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) in the winter of 2014 after three decades in the military. Here he tells the real story of his departure from his post and why America is not getting any closer to winning the war on terror.
Nigeria’s government has belatedly woken up to the dangers posed by the almajiri system, aware that it also puts children at risk from other criminal influences: street gangs, sex abusers and slave traders. Yet little real progress has been made. Nigeria’s previous president, Goodluck Jonathan, pledged hundreds of new schools for the almajiri, noting that many had become ‘cannon fodder’ for the terrorists. However, many of the new facilities have either crumbled into disrepair or have never been properly used.
But that is not the half of it. Peterborough’s postal vote was far above the normal percentage (and almost 10,000 strong) and heavily utilised in the city’s most Muslim area. There are stories of imams filling in voter slips for worshippers and local non-Labour Muslims have complained of intimidation. Labour is also accused of buying votes at ten quid a go. If this were not a problem associated with Muslim community leaders and activists then I suspect it would be front-page news.
The annual al-Quds Day march in Berlin is often cited as a prime example of the rise of so-called new anti-Semitism in Europe: hatred of Jews in connection with Israel, often by people from Muslim societies. Despite attempts by organizers in recent years to suppress some expressions of anti-Semitism, the march by hundreds of participants features frequent calls about killing Israelis, Zionist conspir
Dr Mark Peel said officers with Kirklees Children’s Services DID know that young girls were being sexually abused – and that an opportunity to smash the grooming ring was missed. His report said details of young women caught in “the cycle of sexual exploitation” went undetected and unrecorded by skilled and experienced social workers and managers. This was despite one case file referring specifically to “sexual exploitation” by Asian males who gave one victim – known as ‘Girl 8’ – drugs and alcohol.
Mr Wazir came to the UK in 2015, leaving behind his family in Lahore because he had been targeted by Islamic extremists and feared for his life. A Fatwah (a legal ruling from an Islamic leader) was issued against Azeem because he had campaigned for Christian freedoms in Pakistan, such as supporting Asia Bibi, Christian sports players and being involved in a campaign called 'Stop Killing Christians'. According to
[President of the European Council, Donald] Tusk referred to the value gap between the states of the Arab League and those of the European Union as "differences between us". Such euphemisms however, do not explain the evident lack of even the pretense, on the part of the EU, to comply with its own stated human rights policies.
BRITAIN’S war on terror could be crippled if Ministers cave into MPs and accept a new controversial definition of islamophobia, an ex-terror tsar warns. Lord Carlile said the form of words describing Islamophobia as a ‘type of racism that targets expressions of Muslimness’ would hamper efforts to stop and search extremists at ports and returning ISIS fighters.
The inconvenient truth is that a fervent commitment to Islam led those benighted savages to murder Christians in Sri Lanka and that a sizeable proportion of Muslims worldwide are not entirely averse to such despicable actions. You cannot quite separate Islam from the horrors carried out in its name, no matter how well intentioned you may be. Nor, for that matter, can you separate Islam from the appalling treatment of women, gays, apostates and Christians in states which call themselves Islamic. Islam, as it is practised today, is in general neither peaceable nor tolerant and it seems to me absurd to pretend that it is.
Despite Iran's destructive behavior, such as support for terror and militia groups across the region, the European Union has chosen to help the ruling mullahs of Iran, ostensibly to maintain the flimsy, illegal, never-signed, unratified "nuclear deal" -- but possibly even more as an embarrassingly transparent attempt, if the EU could be embarrassed, to navigate around US economic and political pressure and continue doing business with the regime.
In Germany, four separate churches were vandalized and/or torched in March alone. "In this country," PI-News, a German news site, explained, "there is a creeping war against everything that symbolizes Christianity: attacks on mountain-summit crosses, on sacred statues by the wayside, on churches... and recently also on cemeteries."
A network of British Asians based in London, Buckinghamshire, Birmingham, northwest England and Scotland mounted VAT and benefit frauds against the exchequer over two decades and made further gains from mortgage and credit card fraud targeting banks and individuals. The group netted an estimated £8bn in public money alone.
One of the litany of unbearable stories heard throughout the day, which ought to shame Penny Mordaunt and the civil servants at the Department for International Development (DfID), was the story of the two Christian Pakistani children, forced to watch as their parents were burnt alive in a kiln.
“Revealed: Government adviser on Islamaphobia gave his backing to a Pakistani cleric who called for a Christian mother to be hanged for blasphemy,” by Glen Owen and Abul Taher, The Mail on Sunday, April 7, 2019:
A hotel opposite a Newcastle mosque will be allowed to sell booze — despite fears that it could cause a spike in hate crime. The Newcastle Backpackers hotel in Elswick Road had asked Newcastle City Council for a licence that would have allowed it to sell alcohol to its residents 24 hours a day.
he All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on British Muslims has produced a well-intentioned but worrisome definition of Islamophobia. It states: “Islamophobia is rooted in racism and is a type of racism that targets expressions of Muslimness or perceived Muslimness”.
The charities regulator has been accused of lacking a spine after failing to conclude an investigation into funding for the controversial group behind an annual march featuring support for Hizbollah. MPs and campaigners criticised the Charity Commission for taking two years to examine a trust that has given almost £1 million to the Islamic Human Rights Commission (IHRC). The IHRC organises the Al Quds march, at which many attendees wave the flag of Hizbollah, the militant Lebanese group which was outlawed in its entirety by the Home Secretary last week. Following the announcement, the IHRC
Much of the coverage of the same problem in Great Britain said that Jay had accused the Rotherham council and police of failing to tackle sexual exploitation because of misplaced "political correctness." Yet Jay says those are not the words she would use: "I have an aversion to phrases like that," she said. Instead, she believes the Labour-dominated council turned a blind eye to the problem because of "their desire to accommodate a community that would be expected to vote Labour, to not rock the boat, to keep a lid on it, to hope it would go away."
Extremist speakers are on the rise at universities, figures show, amid warnings that hate preachers are enjoying “near unfettered” access to students. During the last academic year, there were 200 events held at university campuses which featured individuals with radical views, according to an analysis by a counter extremism think-tank. These included hate preachers, pro-jihad activists, and anti-Semites, some of whom toured around the country delivering lectures to students.
"These mendacious silencing tactics must be called out for what they are.
"These councillors are dismissing the concerns of Kirklees residents who do not wish their council to supply this meat to children, including Muslims who reject the hardline interpretations of Islam that the council has effectively endorsed." Indeed the council's policy flies in the face of the fact that the majority of halal meat consumed by Muslims in the UK is from animals stunned prior to slaughter.
Admin: They seem to still be promoting the commercial aspects of Christmas. Strange that!
A shopping centre is refusing to stage a nativity scene this Christmas because it might offend customers who are not Christian. They replied: “Thistles shopping centre prides itself on being religiously and politically neutral in its behaviour within the local community and with this in mind we do not feel it would be right to agree to host this type of promotion within a shopping centre.
Children from across the UK falling victim to abuse after being placed in Birmingham care homes are NOT being counted in the city’s official CSE figures. The youngsters are classed as ‘out of borough kids’ and their ordeals are only officially recorded on a Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE) register by their home authority. Critics claim the system means the full picture of
